So the new GT500 is sick and I decided to get one but while I was shopping I kept checking out the new 5.0s and came to the conclusion that the GT500 isn't 20k better than the Mustang GT anymore. I know the GT500 has TONS more potential but I don't need 750 hp nor plan on putting race seats and a cage in this car (so 11.50 is the ceiling). So I swapped the 427R for a 5.0 w/a manual, 3.73's, and Brembos. It is by far the best (of 5) new Mustangs I've ever driven off the lot.

Was hard to see the Roush go (and all the money I had into it) but it was time. I had that car almost 3 years which is a personal record.

Light mods forth coming. Stopping by Stage 3 to pick up a Roush axle-back next week and of course tint next week, too. After that I'll prolly wait a month or two till the motor loosens up a little then get a CAI/tune. If you believe what you read on the innerweb that should put me at 400 rwhp and damn close to 11's on a DR... we'll see.
