Bonnie and myself will be opening our home in Heber/Overgaard Az the weekend of July 7th for a BBQ for anyone interested in coming. Heber/Overgaard celebrates 4th of July that weekend instead of doing it during the week since the 4th falls on a Wednesday this year, if the fire dangers are low they put on an awesome fireworks display.
We are located on 260 East which is 51 miles east of Payson. It takes about 2 hours from Shea and Beeline Highway and providing you don't stop to long in Payson.

I am limited on space as far as over night stays, my 2 guest rooms are already spoken for as well as the couch, but there are camp grounds and hotels and cabin rentals within 1-3 miles of our home/cabin. Also if your not afraid your welcome to crash out with sleeping bags on my property or pitch a tent. If you only want to come for the day that is fine as well. Fireworks begin at dark.

Here is the list of lodging places. (http://www.heberovergaard.org/bus_directory.htm)

The Best Western is pretty decent here and puts you in direct line of the fireworks display. But if your planning on going you better make reservations RIGHT NOW this will sell out.

FOOD: Not sure how to handle the food, so opening this topic on how it should be handled. We can either have everyone bring there own for BBQ or we can take a collection for us to get everything.

YOU MUST SPEAK TO ME DIRECTLY IF YOU ARE COMING TO OUR HOME, I NEED TO GIVE BONNIE A HEADS UP OF WHOS COMING.

I WILL GIVE DIRECTIONS AND ADDRESS WHEN YOU CONTACT ME EITHER WITH PRIVATE MESSAGE OR VIA PHONE.

ALSO I DO NOT LIVE ON A PAVED ROAD, SO MUSTANGS ARE OPTIONAL. HOWEVER IF YOU DECIDE TO BRING YOUR MUSTANG, BOTH ANDY AND WADE HAVE DRIVEN THERE'S AND BOTH SAID THE ROADS ARE FINE, JUST A LITTLE DUSTY.

Your welcome to bring toys there is lots of places to ride.
We will have our Kawasaki Brute Force Quads there, however the law will not allow you to double ride here, the last time we got stopped double riding we were threatened with a $600 ticket. Nobody can double ride on our quads period!!!

We live on the golf course so if there are any golfers it is pretty inexpensive and is a decent course, although it is only 9 holes.

Im sure Im forgetting something but we can answer everything as this topic builds.

Hope Jeff doesn't get mad, but there is more information here (http://azponys.com/showthread.php?tid=806)
