Okay, so I purchased the GT500 bumper conversion kit from a local Detroit Ford dealer. After installation, I now have an airbag light on my dash. The wiring harness that was provided has 4 unused connections. Can anyone offer information as to which connection is for the airbag system? Also, are the unused connections unnecessary, or do all of them have a mating connection?

Okay, there are 3 wiring harnesses involved.

A = Original headlight wiring harness
B = New GT500 headlight wiring harness
C = Untouched wiring harness on vehicle that had one connection to original wiring harness A

1. Connection #6 was originally mated with connection #5. Connection #5 is from untouched wiring harness C and connection #6 is from the original wiring harness C. So #5 & #6 mated.

2. Connection #4 took the place of connection #6 from the original wiring harness. Presumably #4 mates with #5.

3. Connection #6 from the original wiring harness has only two wires. Pink w/ orange & purple w/ green. Connection #4 & #5 also have these wires.

Ultimately I decided to reinstall the original wiring harness and splice/lengthen the fog light wiring. This solution seemed more viable since any rewiring to the new wiring harness would have involved cutting more wiring than I would have been comfortable with. So, it's probably a good thing that you didn't have any wiring diagrams. Thanks anyhow.
