All i got was a click when I tried to start it... so I thought battery... Well my charger says the batter is 100% charged...... I still just get a click not even a turn over.... can anyone help.. the car has under 29k miles and never had this problem... Could it be a fuse? HELP ME!!!!!

All I can suggest is to look backwards at what you did to the car and see if there is something you missed.

could a wire be bad?

check to make sure the battery cables are perfectly tight. mustangs are picky about that, moreso then most cars.

if ur gettin no signal at the starter when u hit the key, its not the starter.

ill have to check, but is the starter relay part of the ccrm on the cobra?

nope, its the middle of the 3 larger relays in the junction box.

have someone try to start the car, and put ur finger on the starter relay, check to see if its clicking. if not, then switch it with another relay that u know works (either a new one, or switch it with an exact match in the car). if still no clicking, then ur not getting power to the relay, which is fun to diagnose.

man sounds like fun :)

gotta find why ur not gettin power to the relay now. time to go over everything in the car.

when u try to start it, it clicks once right? if you immediaately try it again, does it click once again? or nothing?

It will click all night long...... It sounds like the solenoid on the starter is clicking... cant tell

id say starter. if it only clicked once, and didnt again for a while, thats usually the battery connection, or corrosion on the cables.

and starters like to just die :)

have access to a power probe?

Have you tried a different key? I had the chip in a key go bad once and the ignition would turn but it would not start. Everything worked but since the computer could not read the chip in the key it would not start.

Oops... never mind, missed the posts about it starting with a jump.

the ground to the engine block near the mount and to the frame. ive seen them come apart. or the power wire to the starter. you can easily check both of those with a meter.
