its not adlustable that i know of. sounds like you could be low on oil or have low oil pressure. that would cause some top end noise.

stock cams and oil pressure is great plus plenty of oil

When does it make noise??
If it's just a start up then it's the chain tensioners making the noise..

nah it makes the noise idleing but its not coming from the front where the timing setup is its comin from under the valve covers who knows its prolly just the nature of this particular engine

I know injectors can tick or click also when they're bad. I've never heard it myself but I know a few people that have replaced them and it was gone.

You can just unplug one at a time to test. Just don't rev or run it for long just pull and if noise is gone you got it.

Hope this helps

is it the original valve springs? That would explain why they just cant close the valves fast enough to keep the rocker arm against the cam all the time.

i have something of the same noise in my engine(99 gt). its real bad when the engine is cold and after it warms up the noise calms down a little. if its piston slap would i be able to just take off the heads and have them worked or am i going to have to tare into the bottom end?
