No, they ran a water/meth injection since they were getting about 44 lbs of manifold pressure.

What issues did and do they have?

Tuning is and has ben a pain in the arse. they still are havingthe same issues with it I spoke to John a few months ago about this when he mentioned it to me. WOT is not hard it is the low and mid range that they are having issues with. Im sure lack of quality parts has a lot to do with it back then and maybe some to as well

why do you need two adders?? Its worthless!! And very stupid for that matter. My car will run it down just being a single turbo... Oh well I guess opinions are like a**holes.. everyone has one.

from what i have read on this set up. the supercharger gives you the low end power you want off the line and then when the turbos get going they cause the supercharger to somehow stop or open up or something to that effect. then the turbos give you the power up top. so its supposed to be like the perfect set up. i dont know if all of this is true i have just heard from other ppl.

Cool idea but seems like such overkill...

I've heard about this car, and what I understand is it's more of a "cool" thing than a practical or even necessary thing to do.

It is different that is for sure. Tuning it has to be fun.

Why not do it Semi trucks have done this for years and it works.

Two different fuels Ethan............plain and simple.

The system on this thread was tested on a dyno with a friggin' 23% correction factor!!!!:laughing:

Real simple question that will tell the tale on this system:
What system is far more efficient?
A twin turbo system that on a stock Cobra longblock produces 976RWHP/880RWWQ AT 26 psi.
A twin turbo compounded boost w/eaton on a stock Cobra longblock making 1,188 rwhp and 1,015 rwtq at 44psi?............with CLAIMED inlet temps of 120:laughing:

plus you have twice as many things to go wrong. plus more money in the start up of the build. They make a trans brake to leave out of the whole. Or something called methanol, or a lil juice for that matter. And if you cant get your car too spool that well you have a badly built kit. I have no problems making my 82mm spool down low. Granted it doesn't start building boost @ 1000 rpms like a supercharger. But it does plenty for whats at hand.
