Maybe i"m "carzy" but just could not pass up this little coupe 4cyl no rust runs ok, but i'm thinkin this is my sons (Connor 11) Project. Maybe a Hiway Patrol Look a like or a 10 second sleeper!!! It was on craigs list and the guy lived 2 blocks from my house.. Destiny!!! Maybe its the cool green graphic that sealed the deal!!!

Looks good. I have never been a big fan of luggage racks. They are more fitting on an old Benz or Jag.

Well ripped the interior out and guess what we found???? The two rear mounting bolts, the metal around them on both front seats are cracked right through the floor. No rust just cracked floor all around the bolts. Sooooooooo looks like welding in in line before anything else happens which will include the subs.

Which set of tail lights, are you going to go with left, or right? You could be unique you know, and use the set on the right and go sequential. Hell it might look good, it would definetly be unique. Good luck with it, nice score. But the green has got to go, looks like it came right out of the 60's, Mike D.:2thumbs:

My 89 has a button, in the glove-box left side. I'm sorry, the button in the glove box is for the gas door. The trunk button, is on the right of the steering column. It's on the panel that goes under the column, 4" to the right, and 3" down.

The green is going for sure! I found a set of very nice tail lights from an 80 Mustang and they are going on..

:2thumbs:Let Me know Lou, I might sell my 89 notch when I'm done. I'm looking at a 1969 Shelby GT 500, 428 CJ 4 speed car, if all works out I might sell my 89 notch, all forged internals, custom ground cam, 1.7 roller rockers, Trick Flow Track Heat upper and lower intake w/1 inch phenolic spacer, Trick Flow Track Heat aluminum heads, etc. the list goes on, Mike D. Ok here is a small update.. Found the correct rear matching tail light lens, replaced the rear deck lid off a very clean 91 that hit a pole, gutted the interior and all the electric is fixed... Un-doing someones quick fixy crap takes a long time, splice, tap cut I mean take a little bit more time and do it right! But all the lights switches work the way they were intended.. Next stop... Welding the seat posts....
