Come on guys this is very important for the future of our kids. This will create jobs, stimulate our economy, insure that our dependence of oil from the very people that hate us will not cut our supply. For the people that are worried about the land, is it better we spill more oil in our oceans due to transporting, Exxon Valdez and many others for example. We should be in control of our own oil and our future.

I signed and support drilling to a point. Who's to say the oil is going to all stay here. Oil companies have no allegiance to any flag, just to the highest bidder. Oil is sold on the open market to the highest bidder. Exxon Mobil is not going to drill just to sell to us cheaper, that's not how big business works.

How pissed are you going to be when in ten years if we decided to drill, that half our oil is going overseas to China and India.

That's like saying lets convert more open land to farm land and grow more corn. Corn is sold on the open market also and most goes overseas.

We have to realize the world has finally caught up with us in energy consumption and will soon pass us by.

Just look around.... We here are converting from cars to bikes and the rest of the world is converting from bikes to cars.

What we need to do is get rid of our dependancy on oil. Alternative fuel is what we really need to focus on.
