Thanks, I will give them a call if the other motors I am going to look at turn out to be garbage. I am going to go check out a 347 stroker this weekend. If I end up with something like that I'm still going to get the 302 built, just won't be until next year sometime.

I just bought a Exploder 5.0 out of a 97 with 83k miles on it from a local JY. Got it home and upon dissasembly found it was cooked. The oil looked like asphalt. I took the short block to Robin at Specialty Machine in Phoenix. He did a hot tank/hone/bearings/rings and freeze plugs for $450. I also took him my 331 with a split block and a JY 302 block. He machined the new jy block and installed all of the 331 rotating assembly w new rings and bearings for $650. I am very pleased with his work and prices. Now I've got him working over a set of alum heads. He is a little behind right now because he just returned to work after a heart attack but I'd highly recommend him.
