The black BMW....

THis is the first Car I clayed with the Meguires clay last week. It didn't do a very good job.
I spoke with the guy, told him I needed a more agressive clay and would finish another day.
He was gone for a week or so.
So I got that Blue clay magic and the more agressive Poorboys polishes, done a few cars as seen in this thread.
This really shows the process, Black Shows EVERYTHING!!!
Here's the decklid. I clayed half of it with the Megs clay last time. here's the overspray. this car had alot on it.
(THIS IS WASHED!)

The hood, that I clayed with Megs clay.... It's also pretty scuffed up. ALOT of swirls and scratches.
you can see the specs that are left on it.

SO, to start - I washed the car and dryed it.
Good from far, far from good.

PoorBoys EX is good stuff. I personally use Clearkote Cannuba Moose Wax as a topper. Nattys is nice also though.

Sure thing! White is easy. (my car is white)

I haven't tried the Clearkote stuff yet, but I hear a lot of good things about it.

Can anyone recommend a good FAQ or how to on detailing? My Black Cobra could use some detailing and Im willing to spend some copious amount of time with her.

You clay'd the windshield on that Beemer? Was that just to remove the overspray?

Thanks Guys

I gave the black cobra owner a deal, he lives here in town and is on the local forum.

I'll clean your car if you come by, it's quite a drive!!
you can help. :icon_biggrin:

Did my truck last weekend:
It was swirled up from washes and my neighbor's kid decided to roll around on my tauno cover and scuffed it up good. there was a few fine scratches from my kids on the side.
so, I polished it up and gave it a good wax sealer for the winter.

Polished the scratches and top of the cover with SSR2
Polished the whole truck with SSR1
and PB ultra fine polish.
Final with EX
It took most of the day, but turned out sweeeeet.
That ultrafine polish as AWSOME stuff. it works great on the windows, chrome and I even polished
my clear bra on the front
Here's some pix:

Klasse works great!! it goes on smooth, cleans off tar and tarnish marks, and seals it up!
