I do not have one. I did some research on them though. Good things about steering quality with one note: the ford idler arm kinda acts like a steering damper in the respect that it wants the steering to return to center. If you notice on your car that after you turn it sort of returns to center on its own it happens for 2 reasons, caster and the idler arm. If you are able to get more caster out of the front end alignment you may not notice a slower return to center. If not, you may notice it steers easier but does not return to center on its own as easily.

I installed a manual rack and pinion. The front end alignment was not able to get as much caster as I would have liked. My steering has to be helped to return to center after a turn. I turn the car and it stays there. It takes some getting used to. I cannot say for sure if that will be the case with a roller idler. Call this guy and ask his opinion on the effect it will have on your setup.
