Why I never use E-85 without testing

Yea thats right 93% Ethanol. This would create a dangerously lean condition with a tune for 85%.
This is the second time I have had over 85% straight from the pump. I cut it down to 85% by adding some 91 octane to the mix.
I never ever pump it straight into the car. It always goes into jugs first.

You add water to a line then E85 to another line. Put the cap on. Shake it and it will separate in a few minutes.

Not a major issue in a flex fuel vehicle that can adjust for variations.
