What Weight Oil are you using with a Supercharger?

Time for an oil change and I don't have the blower yet. Ordering the Procharger in a few days.

I have always ran a heavier weight oil when going from N/A to FI.

Right now I have been using 5w-20 Mobile One....I like Moble One
I don't really care about they type of oil and don't want to get into one that has to be ordered.

    What are you guys running?

I have seen some use 10w-40, 5w-50. I ran a 15w-50 before on a turbo car with no issues.

I was planning on going to 10w-30, but from past I rather run a heavier weight if I can.

I will most likely put in some Mobile One 10w-30 tomorrow and do some more research of what everyone else is running. If it is a good idea to run a heavier weight I'll change it during the SC install.

This is for an agressive daily driver.

    Thanks

I have been running Mobil 1 synthetic 5-20 since day one on my Vortech unit and after almost 25,000 miles not one issue. This is my DD and I drive it...... A lot of guys run Royal Purp so you might want to look into that also.

I have been using Royal Purple SAE 5W-20 in my Vortech 08 daily driver. I also use the FRPP FL820 filters, not the FL820S.

Good luck with your Procharger install, they make good power!
