Don't use it unless you change the oil very frequently.

I was in Walmart two days ago looking at oil and they were fully stocked on everything including Mobil. Williamsfield/Market in Gilbert. :) I'm going tonight to contemplate over oil, and I'll let you know.

I can't decide if I should stick with Castrol GTX conventional (what's been in the car since day 1) or switch to Motocraft semi (used on my old 6), or Mobil 1 XD This will be the first oil change on my new '03 62k GT. Not to start a new convo!

Take that back, running very low.

And I meant first oil change I've personally done.

Is that due already? I thought I just changed it.
I wouldn't go full synthetic. The motor craft semi should be fine also.
The car burned no oil between changes.

Due in 900 miles, but I felt like buying it a little early. And I did end up going with the motorcraft semi-syn with K&N filter.
