    recommended belt brand.

im getting a 2.76 S/C pulley installed and i was wondering what belt you guys recommend. billetflow suggested a gates belt but i know a few guys that use gatorback.

any significant advantages from one to the other?

My green gates belt was great, but way too much money, and looked strange being green. I like my Dayco Poly Cog Gold Series, and it's only like 25 bucks.

    Gates here.
I hear that if you use a slip proof S/C pulley and a gatorback belt the pulley will chew up the belt.something with the belts design not being compatible with the non slip pulley .
