    Sweet which tranny would you suggest? a stock cobra tranny? or a five speed from a gt?

    Its completely up to you. I personally like the 6 speed over the 5 speed. They are built better and have fewer problems.

    Cool cool, now sorry for all the ques. but i got one more. is this something i can install myself? or do i need to take it to a shop? I just did the rear end of my stang so i have a general knowledge but just wondering?

    You will need the wiring harness for the swap, a different drive shaft, tranny, and a tune.

    It all depends on what your goals with the car is. If its a dd occasionaly track car then I wouldnt go through the hassle. If its gonna be a drag car, stay auto, road course, go stick.

    Ok so new question... ive been out of town, but i remembered today that i have a Performance Automatic PA53101, now it is capable of holding up to 450hp now with the type of nitrous shot i wanna run it wouldnt be anywhere near that number, now my question is...does your previous statement about transmission parts being on the ground still apply?

    ok so i guess my question would be what the difference would be from say 50hp from nos or 50hp from other parts cuz at the end of the day its still 50hp right?
