Took longer then I had planned. If you are just purchasing SC, easy install can be don in short order. I purchased all the goodied to include the Big tubr kit and intercooler.
Comes with everything you need to install. I had a hard time with the screws for the intercooler that go into the frame under the bumper.
I went on line to get help to understand some of the wiring. I realized it was easier than I thouhgt to complete the wiring. Again comes with everything you need
Alot of fun to drive. Dont let people tell you that 4.10 gears are to much, it definatly adds to the fun factor.
Running N/A and having every conceivable bolt on (incl. heads and cams), I thought that the stock TB might be a bottleneck. Man I was right. I didn't do a before/after comparo on the dyno, BUTT, i could DEFINATELY feel a nice increase in performance. I have now had the unit in the car 2+ years without a problem. Couldn't be happier. Solid product from a solid company. Was also very happy w/Brenspeed cust service and free SCT tune update to accomdate the BBK. :veryhappy:
The SCT XCal-2, is probably the best hand held tuner on the market today. Unlike the Predator, which is locked to the vehicle used, you can't put the stock tune file back in the vehicle used, and install another tune file in a different vehicle. The XCal-2 on the other hand, can return the stock tune file to the vehicle being used, lets say an 01 Lightning and install the custom tune file in another 01 Lightning processor code CXN1. With the predator, which ever vehicle you purchase, and install it in your locked to that one vehicle even if you reinstall the factory tune file.:pinkthumb: ITLRUN
This in conjunction of a firewall adjuster and clutch quadrant make missed shifts a thing of the past. Operates much more smoothly and quietly in comparisson to Steeda Tri-Ax. Shortest and best shifting aftermarket shifter for the 3650 of the couple I have had some seat time with.
A must for anyone looking to enhance the looks as well as the performance aspect of their ignition system. Comes with cap, rotor, and screws for a nifty little attachment to hold down your wires to the cap and to keep the coil wire in place (prob. good for vibration or serious terrain).

I know I should write a "how to" on this so i probably will. I used a stock 4.6L truck fan and some basic parts you can get at any parts store.
You will need:
1 small rubber grommet
5 different colors (if you like color coding your work like me) of heavy duty automotive wire / 10ft ea.
1 automotive accessory relay for heavy duty amperage.
1 thermostatic fan switch (sensor) with toggle switch (I used a 3 way on/off/auto)
5ft of rubber hose to relocate the overflow to passenger side.
2 small hose clamps
There are many ways to do this so i'll leave the details up to you UNLESS you want my specific part numbers then send me a PM.
The ending result is my temp is 20 degrees cooler (anywhere from 160-180). I can use it on the street in the AUTO position to stay cool, very cool even in traffic. Or I can turn it on the ON position for fully on (good for "HD hwy. use" and sitting in the lanes doing extra cooling in-between rounds at the track) And finally theres an OFF position I dont use yet but maybe it could be useful in freezing weather (dont know yet).
I picked up 2/10s at the track.
Better gas mileage
Saved $$ (there are kits for this that are more advanced but this works just as well).
The only drawback is the fans hunger for power. This is a big fan that covers the radiator almost 75%! So make sure your charging system isnt flawed or plagued with a low amp alternator.

I had some problems with my AOD before...like O/D wouldnt work for a few mins right after first drive of the day, but this fixed it! It took forever to shift with moderate slippage in-between shifts, this kit fixed it! Dropped my ET by .2 secs! Not a bad kit, but theres better out there. Im probably going to change to a Baumann Recal later.

If you want powerful sound, stainless looks and durability get it. Mine DOES rub against the transmission X member but it doesnt bang or thud on accel or decel. My car had 4 cats on the stock H pipe so this mod added some power.
I put these on in about 3 hours, which I had to modify the passenger side motor mount because I have a vert (bigger mounts than coupes/hatches) the sound of the motor was totally changed! You can actually hear the valves working and can tell its breathing easily! I dont know how much power they would add by themselves since I added an O/R X pipe at the same time but, It made a very noticeable difference. Best of all you can use your stock H pipe with cats to pass emissions when its that time. Get them jet hot coated or paint them with some high temp header paint. I heard the chrome ones "blue" but thats normal with ANY chrome exhaust part.
Even though this product didnt give me the "in your face sound" it was still good quality! Very good look from the rear when you see polished mufflers peeking out from behind the rear axle. This would be perfect for daily drivers or sleepers.
