Thread: Limits to stock long block?

    Well, supposedly it already makes 600rwhp on 93...that is what the previous owner claimed and has the dyno sheet for.

    It is a full exhaust (LT's no cats) with a ported intake....but numbers aren't really what matters to me. Once I get it on the track I'll be more interested in the MPH plus I am having it retuned for METH anyways.

    Thanks for the advice on the half shafts.

    So you are saying that 600 is about the limit before I should consider breaking into the motor?

    No 600 is safe. There are many cobras making that much power or more. The key is to have a safe tune for pump gas. 600 seems high for 93 octane.
